This upbeat class begins with stretching and balance. Dancers then move to progressions across the floor involving, patterns, turns, and exploring the space through movement. Center work blends turns, technical skills, traveling floor combinations, standing and sitting with choreography for class dance pieces. Repetition is key for all dancers to build confidence and grace while having a wonderful time!
Dress Code:
Black jazz shoes and black leotard & tights or leggings. Hair neatly pulled back.
JAZZ Shoes:
You can order them on Amazon.com and the recommended brand is Bloch. They are typically leather with elastic.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Weather-Related
In the event that Charlevoix Public Schools are closed due to inclement weather, classes will be cancelled. To the best of our ability, CCA will schedule a make-up class. Refunds will not be provided if the student is unable to attend a rescheduled class.

Minimum Enrollment
If a class does not have the minimum number of students enrolled, CCA will notify you prior to the first session that the class is cancelled and will offer a full refund to the student. (Credit card payments will be refunded to the same card and check & cash payments will be refunded by check.)

Student Withdrawal
Due to artist/instructor preparations and travel, we do not provide refunds.
