Donations  The Gift of Art 2010 and Beyond

The Circle of Arts has initiated a fundraising campaign “The Gift of Art -2010 and Beyond”. Donations are for operating expenses unless otherwise designated. Contributions can be made to the Charlevoix Circle of Arts, P.O. Box 617, Charlevoix, MI 49720. With the public’s generosity we can all look ahead to a full slate of engaging visual art exhibits, workshops, classes and events for next year. The goal is to expand programming into the music, performing arts and other cultural arenas that will reach out to all, serving to educate and culturally enrich the Charlevoix community.

Indivdual Yearly Membership $25.00
All members receive a complimentary newsletter, invitations to gallery openings, and a 10% discount on classes and special events.

Family Yearly Membership $50.00
All members receive a complimentary newsletter, invitations to gallery openings, and a 10% discount on classes and special performances.

Photography Yearly Membership $50.00
All members receive a complimentary newsletter, invitations to gallery openings, and Photography Meetings.  You are a member of both the Charlevoix Circle of Arts and the Charlevoix Photography Club (within the Circle of Arts) A 10% discount on classes and special performances is included.

Sponsor Of Arts Yearly Membership $100.00
All members recieve a complimentary newsletter, invitations to gallery openings and a 10% discount on classes and special events.

Photography Club Founders Yearly Membership - $250.00 (initial year) $100.00

Charlevoix Circle of Art is proud to announce they received 501 (c) 3 approval as an educational/cultural public charity organization, from the Department of the Treasury’s Internal Revenue Service. This is an important leap forward, distinguishing their operations as a not-for-profit entity. Although the Circle of Arts has used a fiduciary since its inception, the organization is now qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts independently.

Other regional art organizations with this designation include Crooked Tree Arts Center, Jordan River Art Council, Traverse City Art Center, Dennos Museum and the Cheboygan Area Arts Council.

Volunteers Needed

Do you like being surrounded by beautiful artwork? Do you like meeting new and interesting people? Charlevoix Circle of Arts has many volunteer opportunities. We are looking for friendly individuals (16 years and older) to docent (be an attendant) at the gallery daily. We also need people to assist with art classes, help with general cleaning, address and mail envelopes, etc. We have something for everyone.
